These terms & conditions apply to the Blue Cannon Racing Tipster competition in association with The Daily Sport:

1. The Promoter of this competition is Blue Cannon Racing Ltd, Penny Black Chambers, 13 – 15 Barton Road, Worsley, Manchester M28 2PD.
2. The competition website www.dailysporttipster.co.uk is wholly owned and operated by Blue Cannon Racing Ltd.
3. The registration for this competition closes on the 24th October 2009.
4. To enter the competition via SMS please text the word REGISTER along with your NAME DATE of BIRTH EMAIL ADDRESS PUB NAME and PASSWORD (for web entry) to 88101. Texts cost £8 network charges apply. You will receive 3 messages to confirm your registration, 1 x £5 message and 2 x £1.50 messages. Once registered you will receive a daily message informing you of the race details for that day. In order to play you need to text the word PLAY followed by RACE LETTER, HORSE NUMBER, STAKE, LETTER W or E(indicating win or each way). This text is charged at 25p, network charges apply. 5. Once submitted, entrants cannot change their daily selections.
6. Names of winners will be published on this site and winners will be notified by email or telephone.
7. A full list of prize winners by name will be available after the 25th October 2009 by writing to the Promoter at: Competitions Department, Blue Cannon Racing, 7 Penny Black Chambers, 13 – 15 Barton Road, Worsley, Manchester, M28 2PD.
8. There is no cash alternative to the prizes (or any part of them) and unless agreed otherwise in writing, the prizes are non-refundable and non transferable.
9. Exact prize specifications are subject to change and Blue Cannon Racing reserves the right to substitute the prizes (or any part of them) for a prize of equivalent or greater monetary value if this is necessary for reasons beyond its control.
10. No responsibility will be accepted for entries delayed, misdirected or undelivered. The promoter will not be responsible for system failures, network errors, or personal computer issues.
11. Except in the case of death or personal injury arising from its negligence or in respect of fraud and so far as is permitted by law, Blue Cannon Racing and their associated companies and agents exclude responsibility and all liabilities arising from any postponement, cancellation, delay or changes to the prize details beyond their control and for any act or default of any third party supplier. The terms and conditions of any third party supplier will apply to the prize where applicable.
12. Neither the Promoter or any associated company will be liable for prizes that do not reach the winners for reasons beyond reasonable control.
13. If any winner is not able, for whatever reason, to accept a prize, or cannot be contacted within 14 days then the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to another participant.
14. The Promoter's decision is final and legally binding on all entrants and no correspondence will be entered into. Entries that do not comply in full with the competition Rules or Terms and conditions will be disqualified. The decision of Blue Cannon Racing in all matters is final.
15. The Prizes are provided by Blue Cannon Racing and as such they hold all responsibility for supply and delivery.
16. The winners agree to co-operate with the Promoter and their associated companies in any post-event publicity. Blue Cannon Racing reserves the right to use the names and addresses of winners, their photographs and audio and/or visual recordings of them in any such post-event publicity.
17. The Promoter reserves the right to amend the Rules and Terms & Conditions at any time.
18. Please read our Privacy Policy which tells you how we use any personal information we may collect about you by entering a competition.
19. Blue Cannon Racing cannot accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrant entering the Competition or as a result of accepting any prize. Blue Cannon Racing is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, providers, computer equipment or software, or failure of any email or entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet, telephone lines or at any web site (or any combination of these things), including any injury or damage to the entrant's or any other person's computer or mobile telephone related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in the Competition.
20. Any personal information Blue Cannon Racing obtains relating to entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the individual's prior consent.
21. The Competition and the terms and conditions of this agreement will be governed by English law and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
